message to ‘Ed’s Science pupils’.

We’ve completed the 6 week science course, sat
the test and received our certificates at the presentation. It was a special evening and I hope you all felt
proud of your achievements. Well I felt very proud and appreciate the
applause and greetings. Five of you received special prizes too. Well done! |

You’ve all been good students and have worked
very well…. from gathering the equipment to doing the experiments,
recording your results, answering my questions and clearing away the bulbs,
batteries and all the other stuff … your mums and dads haven’t
been too bad either ! Your behaviour has been
excellent and I’m very proud of you all ! |

I
hope you enjoyed the course and learned that science can be fun and that you
can do experiments at home with bits and pieces – you don’t
always need ‘ready made and expensive’ scientific equipment to do
every experiment. In fact most of the famous scientists had to use bits and
pieces too! (Like Frankenstein – heh! heh!) Maths can be fun too ! Best
