The Maze Game Collection

Educational  Game designed to help revision and informal assessment of the less academic/less motivated student.

It’s just an old retro type game with 20 questions. The user moves Fred around the screen collecting apples ( skulls, PC’s or chickens – depending on the topic theme) using the cursor keys. The game generates a RANDOM maze).

The student has to answer a question before an apple can be collected. A typed answer is required. It may be a word, a number or a letter depending on the type of question.

The number of characters for the correct (word) answer is displayed. The user can type ‘help’ to get a clue – the first two letters in the answer are displayed.

An incorrect answer sends Fred back to base and uses up energy.

The Maze Game (in one form or another) has been successfully used with my students aged 10 to 60 years. From Primary School Science to Evening Class Basic Hygiene.
